Tower Heist Factual errors

Factual errors: A car made of solid gold would have weighed vastly more than 2000 lbs (on the order of several tons) and would have been virtually immovable by hand. Getting it out the window, lowering it by the cable, getting it into another window on another floor, putting it on top of an elevator car, getting it to the roof, and then managing to get it into the pool would have been impossible, particularly in the time shown.

Factual errors: Miss Iovenko tells the FBI that she's licensed to practice law because she "passed the Bar three days ago." Getting a license to practice law in New York is vastly more complicated than that. In New York, it takes about 7 weeks for the scores to be released. Once the Board receives the passing scores, it certifies these scores and gives the applicant's case to the New York State Unified Court System. The Court awards a license as a lawyer and swears the applicant in as a member of the New York Bar. The applicant must then register as a lawyer in New York through the New York State Unified Court System.
